Ilgın (b. 1991, Turkey) is a composer, digital artist, and creative coder who bridges sound design and generative art. He holds a BA in Music Composition from Istanbul Bilgi University and an MA in Sonic Arts from Istanbul Technical University (MIAM). Drawing on history and mythology, Ilgın’s work blends immersive audio, interactive visuals, and creative coding to create abstract, dreamlike narratives. He is also part of a Turkey–Spain-based artist duo dist.cs focused on web-based generative artworks, exhibited globally—including at Art Basel Miami. Alongside his art practice, Ilgın lectures on creative coding and AI, and teaches music at the master’s level at LABA Valencia.
